The 11th PSSLD Annual meeting started with band Work Shop with an outstanding well attended advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and EUS work Shop.
The workshop was conducted at the Main Endoscopy unit of Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, Islamabad under the Department of Hepatology and Liver Transplant.
The work shop was conducted by National and International Gastroenterology & Hepatology Faculty specially joining the Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, Islamabad team, including Professor Zaigham Abbas, Professor Tahir Shah, Professor Mohammad Salih, Professor Brig. (R) Amjad Salamat, Professor Najmul Hassan Shah and Professor M. Javed Afridi.
All the three rooms were live connected to the main conference room at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, Islamabad where more than 100 faculty and post graduates gastroenterology students interacted with the faculty while doing the procedures.
Cases included therapeutic upper GI Endoscopy, ERCP in post Liver Transplant and Pancreatic Disease and EUS in Pancreatic Benign and malignant disease.
The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital, Islamabad Dr. Shaukat Ali Bangash welcomed the participants and faculty and he congratulated the organizers of the PSSLD on holding such a successful work shop.
