World Kidney Day is celebrated worldwide bringing together millions of people in over 150 countries and uniting them to produce powerful voice for kidney health awareness.
An event was organized in Nephrology unit of Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital Islamabad by Brig ® Prof Dr Abdul Halim, HOD Medicine & Nephrology on 10th March, 2016.
Ceremony was inaugurated by CEO Dr Shaukat Ali Bangash. All the HODs, Consultants, Medical Officers, Managers, Unit heads and other administrative staff participated in the event. Visit to the Dialysis Unit was followed by cake–cutting ceremony and Hi-Tea for the audience. Renal diet was served to all Dialysis patients. Information in printed form regarding prevention and early diagnosis of kidney diseases were distributed amongst the participants.
