Three consecutive successful living donor liver transplants carried out by the QIH Hepatology & Liver Transplant Team on 12th,13th and 14th April 2018.
All Patient are making smooth recovery in the Liver ICU.

The QIH transplant program is developed under the leadership of renowned hepatologist and liver transplant pioneer in Pakistan Dr Najamul Hassan Shah in a shortest possible time in a purpose build Liver Transplant Infrastructure manned by a specially trained skilled and dedicated nursing and medical Team with Consultant Hepatologist Dr Muhammad Salih heading the Hepatology team and Dr Abdul Wahab Dogar and Dr Fawad Ismail leading the HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery and Transplant anesthesia/Liver ICU components respectively. Additional team members include consultant Hepatologists Brig Dr Amjad Salamat and Dr Javed Afridi.
