Q.I.H inaugurated its first Nuclear Imaging Service (Installation of Gamma Camera) on 25th June, 2016.
Dr.Ishtiaq Malik Nuclear Cardiologist explained various features of the Nuclear Imaging Service. Talking at the ceremony, Dr. Malik said that Nuclear Imaging is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amount of radioactive material to diagnose and determine the severity of or treat a variety of diseases including many types of cancers, heart diseases, Gastrointestinal, endocrine, neurological disorder and other abnormalities within the body.
Dr. Shaukat Ali Bangash, Founder and CEO of Q.I.H was the esteemed Chief Guest. He congratulated Dr. Malik and his team for setting up this unique and rare specialty in a very short period of time.
